Enabling an ambitious distributor to grow their customer base

The Challenge:

To help an established distributor of smoking accessories expand their customer base with a new branded product range – one with specific points of difference from their current offering while still being recognisable as a member of their brand family.

The Co-branding Solution:

As the client’s main objective was to create curiosity and drive the establishment of new accounts to whom they could then promote their entire product range, we determined that a limited collection would be the most appropriate route. This led to a 12-strong selection of dipped incense sticks in popular scents with a twist, such as Patchouli Bloom, Rose Passion and Sandalwood Spell, all packaged in masala-style rectangular boxes rather than the more usual hex style. The elegant design featured pale marbled hues and a smart black label bearing the famous Stamford name to add credibility and quality recognition – making the sales agents’ job that much easier.
