Premium hand-rolled masala to satisfy a retailer’s demand for high quality incense
The Challenge:
To devise an exclusive range for a large retailer which already sold high volumes of incense and needed a premium offer to satisfy customer demand for products of the highest quality.
The Co-branding Solution:
The obvious fit for the client’s requirements was a carefully curated selection from our Fair Trade masala incense range. We branded it Indian Arts to reflect the skills of the artisans in Karnataka who painstakingly hand-roll the all-natural masala paste onto bamboo sticks to create rich, complex fragrances. The packaging incorporated traditional elements of Asian design in a repeating pattern, a slightly different one for each product but all complementary when displayed together. The client decided on two distinct sets of fragrance – a classic collection, including staples such as White Musk, Jasmine and Lavender, and an aromatherapy collection for a point of difference. As the Indian Arts brand becomes more established, the client intends to add more products.
