Launching a lucrative new sideline in Stamford hand-dipped incense for a white-label distributor

The Challenge:

To develop an incense range for a well-established, white-label distributor as a sideline to satisfy growing client demand for additional products. A significant factor in the distributor’s decision to pair with us for this project was Stamford being a UK-owned and operated company, fully compliant with UK and EU regulations.

The Co-branding Solution:

Given that the distributor’s primary business is EU and the US exports, we chose the name Mayflower for its high recognition factor on both sides of The Pond. That approach was also channelled in the hex-pack designs, with the pared-back styling suggesting affordable quality to appeal to a broad cross-section of the market. To further optimise the sales opportunity, we chose popular fragrances with a long track record of worldwide success, including Cinnamon, Amber, Patchouli and Vanilla.
